Owen meets Santa

Santa came to the house today for our first Saturday of Santa Sessions. Owen was first up for photos, first by himself before Santa arrived (notice the HUGE grins in the ones without Santa), then a few with Santa. He wasn't so sure about the big guy, but I love the photos, especially the first one.

I got to thinking the other day that I have thousands of candid shots of my oldest three, but not nearly that many of my little Owen. He has way more studio shots, but not nearly as many just normal every day type pics. So, I've been trying to take advantage of the good weather while it lasts and take some of him exploring outdoors and of his growing up, in general.

So, here goes some of my favorites.

He LOVES to feed himself. Notice that he uses 3 spoons. I load and put it down, he feeds himself and then gives it back to be reloaded. He is super proud!

Birthday celebrations

Jackson asked for his own party this year, so he had his army themed party this past Saturday. I must say, it was a blast! The kids loved it, and the adults had fun watching them.

Tonight, on their acutal birthday, Jackson had his first Cub Scouts meeting. Although I have some issues with the scouts, especially their stance on homosexuality, the rules, regulations, projects, etc. fits Jackson's personality to a "T." So, he is a Tiger Cub. He LOVES it! He walked in standing about 10 feet tall tonight.

Birthdays mean a special snack at school. Collin chose strawberry cupcakes.

Ryan chose cookie sandwiches.

Jackson wanted double chocolate cupcakes, of course.

Dinner was at La Cocina to celebrate their birthday. Jackson chose to miss the hat and ice cream to go to Scouts, but Collin and Ryan enjoyed it.

Owen is 7 months and Collin is home!

Owen turned seven months last week. My goodness -- how did that happen! He is crusing furniture, crawling everywhere, exploring everything, and now has two bottom teeth. My how fast he is growing! Here are his 7 month portraits.

Collin is home from Camp kanata and enjoyed his week away. He came home with a 101.5 temp though, so he's super tired and not feeling too well.

Owen's up from his "nap" so gotta scoot. School starts on the 25th, and we find out who the boys have as teachers on Monday or Tuesday.
